Lowell

Lowell is best known as the headquarters city of J.B. Hunt Transport Services, one of the largest transportation and logistics companies in the country, founded in Arkansas in 1961 and still based in Lowell today. The city sits directly on the I-49 corridor between Springdale and Rogers, with US Route 71B running through town and interstate access placing both Bentonville and Fayetteville roughly fourteen miles away in either direction. Rogers School District serves Lowell's students; Lowell Elementary was named a 2015 Arkansas Reward School for its academic growth and performance. The city's population grew 34 percent between 2010 and 2020 as Northwest Arkansas' logistics and corporate employment base expanded around it. Lowell suits buyers who want central I-49 access, proximity to a major regional employer, and a foothold in one of the corridor's fastest-growing communities.
