Fayetteville City Council approved the grant application for Gulley Park Splash Pad! The feedback from the community is in, they want more public pools & parks! The Fayetteville City Council has approved the new plan for Gulley Park improvements after 4 years in the making.
It's been 4 years in the making to expand Gulley Park since the 2014 acquisition of additional land by the city. Fayetteville is seeking public input and possible grant for splash pad at Gulley Park. The original master plan for development of Gulley Park in Fayetteville, AR has been revised after community input and is once again being put to the public for feedback.
City Council members are set to consider applying for a $250,000 grant from the Arkansas Parks and Tourism Department to help fund the splash pad and interactive fountain at the east Fayetteville park. The 50/50 matching grant would come from the state department's Outdoor Recreation Grants Program.
